victoria police program works

We carry out numerous program minor works for Victoria Police across Metropolitan Melbourne including amenities, offices, command and processing areas of a large number of police facilities.

cowes police station

A new Police Station and horse paddock was created on a hilly site at Cowes. The building contributes to street and community presence in its busy seaside location.

ambulance victoria - yarra junction

element architects have carried out a number of Ambulance design projects. Here the steep site made it difficult to create the ideal drive through arrangement for an ambulance garage but it was achieved. An innovative procurement method utilizing shed construction for the shell was used.

city of melbourne - program works

element architects have been architects for various program upgrade works for the City of Melbourne. The works have been based across groups of sites and works include plant, switchboards, finishes and roofing (usually grouped as building types) to upgrade Council's building stock overall. The City Baths spa upgrade is pictured.

city of yarra - richmond pool upgrades

Difficult site issues in the Richmond Recreation Centre were overcome to create an all access pool concourse and refit the change rooms in the wet space. Other projects for the City of Yarra have included re-working of the Depot Offices, laying out the Recycling Recovery Center access areas and public amenities upgrades.

morwell - multi-disciplinary centre

Victoria's Multi-discplinary Centres are a ground breaking facility type that co-locates police and other agencies in the one location to give victims of sexual assault maximum support designed to stop anyone falling through gaps in terms of government agency assistance. Local community people had input in designs and timber features were inscribed by a local First Nations artist.

warburton police station

A hilly site, rail trail heritage tree sensitivities and bush fire zone requirements were all designed for in providing the new Warburton Police Station which has both a local and mountain area rescue function. It has enhanced the police profile in the district.

restaurant balwyn

An old retail space was successfully transformed into a popular local pizza restaurant with its contemporary Italian influence.

kindergartens - mitchell shire

For Mitchell Shire three kindergartens were updated and extended to suit the expanding population in the area. Wandong Kindergarten's extensions are pictured.

hobsons bay projects

For the City of Hobson's Bay element architects designed extensions and refurbishments to the Bruce Comben reserve pavilion and the Men's Shed facility at Altona. The Men's shed is a repurposed vehicle maintenance facility and is an outstanding example of the men's shed building type with a number of different work shops and bays. office refits - superannuation

element architects carried out a series of office alterations and updates for the superannuation industry including Equip Super, First State Super, Frontier Consulting, Pillar Administration and Health Super.
